It's Volvo, why do U need to ask?
Volvo's approach to servicing and customer service requires an overhaul. We had an issue with our autostart. First visit to dealer servicing was for 'diagnostics'.... basically confirming what we had already told them. This took close to three hours. Not once during that time was an offer of a place to sit and work made let alone an offer of a coffee. The team were extremely confident that the issue would be fixed before Christmas. I love my Volvo, but they make any effort to have classic problematic parts. The 4 times I needed parts never had in Australia, not even Sidney. Then they promised a deliver in 4 months. Yesterday quaote a cheap classic problematic part, that suit many Volvo's, and always the same, no parts available in Australia. My only left option is to sell a car wrecked or wait almost half year to fix the car if you count with Volvo dealers around Australia. Sadly will never buy the brand here again...
We picked up our new XC60 today. Mark Jones did an excellent job, we were very glad to see him again, he sold us our last car, also an XC60, at Sunshine Volvo, who gave up their dealership a few months ago. I have a lot of confidence in the new dealership, they also distribute Bentley and Maserati. I bought my first Volvo in 1971, and have had quite a few over the years. This new XC60 seems to be a pretty good car!
