"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." The Volunteers of America teaches people (military veterans, children, those suffering from substance abuse) how to fish on a daily basis by providing them tools (training, counseling, guidance, hope) to improve their quality of life. It is an honor to serve on the Board of Directors of this organization.
This organization is an extremely important component of my life. It is an honor and a privilege to be a Board Trustee for the past six years.
