Took my daughter car in for a window and lock issue on a beetle fix the window but my lock doesn't work still. Was charged $800 for service repair now they're asking me to pay additional $500 to fix the lock? that's was reason for the visit. I guess money grows on trees the way they see it and for safety reasons my daughter's car can't lock now. Thanks Volkswagen for making my family feel safe driving a vehicle that doesn't lock.
Very poor and unprofessional service at Volkswagen of Orland Park from Service manager Ed Skibinski. He wanted to charge us $1,000.00 for a factory recall on the steering wheel air bag. Then Ed began yelling and shouting insulting remarks when the requested charges be covered by Volkswagen. Bypass this dealership for a more established service department that is knowledgeable and respects their customers. My experience trading in my 2010 EOS for my new 2015 EOS was five star! Joe, Bruce, Natalia and Dustin couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Love my new car!
Have a 2014 VW and I'm pretty disappointed in the service manager. I've been told by numerous people that have seen the paint on my new VW that there is a defect not caused by "environmental" Mind you, these numerous people have or do work in a body shop. It's unfortunate that VW doesnt want to stand behind their product. It was all a decision up to the service manager to let VW of America know about the paint.
