I went to test drive a used truck at their dealership this morning. The engine light was on and the engine had a strange feeling to it (heavy shimmy). The 5 minute test drive ended with the engine cutting out while going up a very small hill with cars behind me. I asked to speak to the sales manager who CLEARLY didn't have any concerns. I questioned how they could allow a vehicle that is CLREALY unsafe on the road and his was response was to shrug his shoulders. LET THE ***** BEWARE!!!

BUYER BEWARE! Worst car buying experience ever. VW of Nanuet had a 2021 *** X7 for sale so my *********** went & looked. Great price but tires & brakes needed to be changed. Put a $2k deposit down. The car at this point had not been inspected. (Why not? Doesnt make sense) They said they would only replace if it failed *** inspection. The back two tires failed inspection, so they said they would replace those. We agreed to pay an additional $1,200 to have the front tires replaced. This is my concern, vehicles purchased brand new should not have a water pump, alternator, and coolant problems within the first calendar year. Additionally, why is anything wrong with the engine? My car has been in service for nine days. I'm grateful for the loaner car but the battery died on this vehicle. I have contacted Volkswagen America corporate offices because I should be entitled to participate in the Buy Back program. Unbearable Suffering: Volkswagen of Nanuet Fails Miserably.My experience with Volkswagen of Nanuet has been an absolute nightmare. Despite multiple problems with my car, including a malfunctioning AC, the dealership provided no assistance beyond returning the car to me.
