Had a great experience today with Drew Selling (no joke that’s his last name). Purchased a pre-owned Atlas from him. He was very thorough and accommodating of my (many) questions. Not trying to force a buy on you type of salesman
I came into Volkswagen of Kirkland genuinely excited about purchasing a used 2026 Tiguan SEL R-Line. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing and honestly left me feeling embarrassed. Worst experience ever. I had a representative schedule me an appointment to pick up a loaner because my vehicle was not operative and in need of service. I arrived to the appointment and the service manager rejected the loaner. I paid 100 plus dollars to Uber there and 100 plus to Uber back. Put me in a situation where I had to pay out of pocket for a rental for almost 3 weeks now. Wife took her VW in for a repair while I was out of town. Boy! Did they took advantage of her. Part cost was inflated from $148 to $260 over counter. Labor should have been $250 for industry standards was over $600 with diagnostic which most dealers will waive if you let them do the repair. So after nearly $1,000 for what should be 30min-1hr of work. Pure highway robbery. And we bought the car from them. Very disappointed and disgusted at same time.
1 star, and that's being generous. I cross-shopped a few VW dealers before landing on my GTI. Every one of them would talk numbers over the phone except Volkswagen of Kirkland, who insisted I come in first before giving me anything. Walked in and was immediately told another customer was looking at the exact GTI I wanted.
