Very disappointing experience. I purchased my brand new vehicle( Tiguan 2024 SEL R-line) in October 2024, and everything was fine until the first oil change at 10,000 miles. Less than 3,000 miles later, a “Low Oil Level” warning appeared. Testing showed the engine is consuming excessive oil (about 1.45 quarts per 1,000 miles).3 times more than usual.
