Great doctor and staff that goes above and beyond for their patients.
I was referred to Dr Volker after suffering an eye injury that left me visually impaired in my right eye. I had my appointment with her in January of 2024. I thought I had made clear prior to, that I was seeking to have a cosmetic soft lens for my eye, but when I arrived they had the thick lens there for me to try. Okay so we had miscommunication, they then took pictures of my eyes and was told they would send out the pictures to an artist to paint the custom lens. Dr. Volker is great - I've never been so compelled to write a review for a Dr. before, but she definitely knows her stuff well and when everyone else told me that there was no way to correct my vision with contacts and that I would have to wear glasses only, Dr. Volker came in and found a simple solution that solved everything. Definitely come to her for a second opinion if your eye Dr. tells you your problem cannot be treated!
I was diagnosed with kerataconus in my early twenties and went to several doctors before I was referred to Doctor Volker. She had just started to practice when I began seeing her. Thanks to this wonderful woman and her incredible technician Deb, I have had a pair of contact lenses that have fit me nearly perfectly for the past nine years.
