I had the best experience picking out my new glasses thanks to Serena Tompkins. The first time I met her I was so impressed with her suggestions on the glasses that suited me the best. She has such a kind and sweet personality. A friend of mine was going to the Walmart to get new classes and I advised her to go to Vogue that Serena would help her pick out glasses that best suit her. My friend was very pleased with Serena and got her glasses there as well.
I’ve never written a review before, but this experience was so disappointing and I couldn’t just let it go. I had a really disappointing experience at the Vogue Optical on 169 Main Street, and it had nothing to do with the eye doctor, he was great. The issue was the receptionist, and based on other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. My mom and I arrived 4 minutes late because of traffic we hadn’t expected. The eye Dr is wonderful, super polite and did everything as needed. The front desk worker - Diane is MISERABLE she spoke to me rudely, she acted as if I was a inconvenience when giving my insurance and taking my photos. Would be a much better environment without her there.
When I needed new glasses, I was a bit worried I wouldn't like them like the last pair. But getting these was a breeze. Serena helped me pick out two frames, and they even came with sunglasses attachments which I thought was pretty neat! I just wish she’d been there when I picked them up, because the young girl who was there with the glasses sent me out with a two glasses cases, two sunglass attachment cases, and a bottle of glasses cleaner with no bag. Always great service at Vogue on Main street. The staff there are awesome. Recently went in because I was helping a family member get new glasses and we needed help with the best way to go about it. Serena Tompkins went above and beyond helping us figure out the best cost effective way as the glasses will need replaced after cataract surgery. With an assist from manager Lorrie Quartermain, Serena had us set up with the best plan and next day the glasses were sent for processing. They were back in a week and helping my family... read more
