About this business

I am a board certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist who specializes in diagnostic evaluations and medication management. I am accepting most major insurances. During the initial evaluation you are provided with a diagnosis, possible causes and ongoing stressors/dynamics that causes you to feel or behave the way you do. I will then suggest treatment options that will result in the most efficient way of recovery. Ongoing medication management is provided if medications are recommended.

We are soo impressed by Dr. Vogt! She was able to get so much information and put it all together within a short amount of time. We have gotten much, much further in the treatment and understanding of our son than previous consultations, even consultations with respected child psychiatry departments in the area. We are so thankful that we found her!

I waited 2 months to meet w/this dr, after MULTIPLE let downs from previous psychiatrists i was very adamant w/office that i needed to book w/a GOOD-strong suited psychiatrist. I was very excited to meet a dr who i thought could help my fam. & i via her advice, helping w/ correct medicine but maybe tweak things based on her thoughts-why i was there! Worst listener: got very upset w/me about a mistake-gettibg loud angry! Poor bedside manner, i left w/ her taking my co-pay & bilking me & ZERO help

Business response:

Unfortunately when patients feel let down by " MULTIPLE " psychiatrists, the problems are often much bigger than a single visit can hope to resolve. In those cases, I always recommend therapy in addition to medication management since it is not very likely that the problems get resolved consulting another psychiatrist. I wish you good luck in the future.

I’m so glad found Dr.Vogt! Friendly, personable+observant, I wanted my teenager 2 see her too (not best practice-she sees someone else in the office).Willing to trust her w/my own child the best endorsement I can give!If she runs behind at all, no doubt because earlier patient unexpectedly required more attention. You’d want that if you needed it, right? I’ve seen 2 other Psy. before Dr.Vogt. She’s far better than both.Receptionists good cop/bad cop-newer 1 BAD cop! Wrong demeanor 4 customer svc.

If you can find another place that takes your insurance, go there. Dr Vogt is cold, unfriendly and never remembers who you are. Her front desk worker is extremely rude. The worst part is you always have to wait more than 30 minutes for your appointment. The appointment then lasts 10 minutes. The worst mental health practice I have been to. Stay away!

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback! We want to be respectful of everybody's time. Delays happen when accommodating patients with urgent matters or missed appointments. We will look into how to streamline appointments better. My goal is for everybody to do well! Stable patients often require much less time than patients in crisis. I always meet the patient where their needs are, what questions they have or what they want to share. This often accounts for the variability in visit experiences.

I have been seeing Doctor Vogt for over 3 years. She is a great doctor, very professional, great listener, performs excellent diagnosis, and prescribed the proper medications that have helped immensely. I saw another review on here saying that she is judgemental. That’s absolutely ridiculous. She is the complete opposite of judgmental given some of the events I have told her in my life, and provides me stern and accurate advice when needed which I deeply appreciate.

Starting seeing Dr. Vogt 1.5 years ago. Her choice of medication improved my life immediately. She is kind, caring and easy to communicate with. She has a positive attitude and an astute listening skill.

Dr. Vogt is professional but cold. I have seen her more than 15 times, only asks 2 or 3 questions. Her office doesn't offer refills over phone and makes you pay your co-pay instead of refilling an antidepressant you have been on for years with no issue. The receptionist with dark hair and young is consistently rude and cold. The wait time is min 30 minutes. If you are late by more than 5 minutes, you are charged the full fee. You can forget about anyone EVER ANSWERING THE PHONE. No aft hr svc.

Business response:

If patients have been very stable on their medications for years and there is not much to discuss during office visits, we recommend that patients are being followed up by their primary care physician so that we can attend to more acutely ill patients that find it difficult to find a provider. We do not charge for being late and yes, we do answer our phones-that's how patients are able to schedule with us.

The Vogt is great I have been seen her for the past five years and she is always very friendly but at the same time stern when she needs to make a point. I would highly recommend her to family or friends. Yes sometimes you may wait a bit but she is an excellent doctor. I was with one other doctor prior and was given incorrect diagnoses and she quickly straighten out my meds and got me back on track.

Worst dr I have ever been too she didn't listen she judged the entire time and told me she had never heard of rapid cycling bipolar disorder.

Business response:

Aware that anybody can post a feedback whether they have been seen or not, I would like to say the following: The first thing that I am thinking when I see a new patient is how I can help. If I were judging someone that would limit my options of finding solutions for which patients come for. Being judgemental keeps one's thought processes frozen within a certain point of view restricting one's ability to be helpful
