Vogel's appraisal was $48,000 under the county's tax assessed value, did not account for over 300 square feet of our home and took over six weeks to schedule the appraisal.
Our appraisal was full of inaccuracies. They stated that we paid almost $60,000 MORE for our home than we actually paid, with an unfinished basement. Our basement is now finished, all high end materials and quality work and they appraised our home and property for the actual price we paid for it 2 years ago, unfinished. Funny because our property and home was appraised exactly 1 year ago (different appraisal company) for $50,000 more than we actually paid. No, I would NOT recommend Vogel Appraisal.
We had 3 properties appraised by Vogel Appraisal in 2011. He was recommended by our Attorny to be the most knowledgeable Appraiser in Bonner County. Now Years later I found out that the Appraisal was very professional and credible for what we needed it for.
