As much of a pizza connoisseur as I am, unfortunately, I have to give a thumbs down to this Vocelli Pizza location. I’ve ordered from other Vocelli locations before — especially the ones in Rockville and Tysons — and the pizza there has always been very good. So when I ordered from the Herndon location, I expected the same quality. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The pizza looked good, but it really had no flavor at all, in my opinion. They will choose when they want to deliver to you. I’ve had them deliver to my address several time and they also will tell me they don’t deliver to my address. Very inconsistent on the service won’t bother ordering pizza here again.
Delicious food, cheese aplenty, great tasting sauce. Loved it. A friendly employee provided service promptly taking the order and detailed information about the food being requested. Lots of parking spaces were available, not busy at all.
Anyone can throw together bread, sauce, cheese, and toppings and make a pizza. It takes true talent to make it just barely palatable. Well done.
