I can't say enough good about this place. I live in NC now and I have to have this when I come home. My grandparents always went there. I am highly jealous my cousins go all the time.
If you're on Vocatura's FB page, you probably are already in on the secret. If not, and you somehow stumbled here by chance, TODAY IS YOUR LUCKY DAY. This place has the BEST pizza in Connecticut. The crust is amazing, the sauce is the stuff of dreams, and the cheese blend is on point. Don't go for the $uper priced upscale "pizza bars". Skip the overrated New Haven legends. If you really love pizza, like, really, really love pizza, this is your place.
Great local family owned place. Best prices on lunch meats and cheese in the area. Been eating here for over 40 years and I am hoping to for another 40!
I live in Myrtle Beach and was in CT for just one day but made sure I got my Vocatura's salami grinder. The very best EVER!
Love this bakery. The subs are amazing. My Uncle Norman LaSalle was a baker there for years.
You can't get better rolls. List of ingredients is still flour, water, salt. Their grinders are the best in the country, pizzas are great as well!
