RecommendedThe staff of VNA-Erie has part of my family throughout my husband’s cancer journey and complications (when they were Regional Home & hospice) & we would be lost without them!!! In the 3 years of service, the staff have been very supportive & accommodating. I have never had a negative interaction I will and have recommended this company!!!
My mother needed home health care. I chose VNA. Huge mistake. Our first encounter was a major HIPPA violation. I still gave them a chance. The nurse, Beth, was rude to both my daughter and myself several times. After 3 unfriendly incidences, she called at 9:30pm to schedule a visit (unacceptable time for the elderly population) then was rude when I canceled, after she had cancelled the previous visit with no explanation. UPDATE...... I recieved a call within 24 hours from the Director of Nursing and she listened to me and understood my frustrations. A Social Worker and a an Aide are coming out today and the record is being looked into. that's all I wanted, was communication. Thanks to Megan for all of her help and kindness. My grandmother and I are having the worst experience with this agency. There had been no communication and the nurses know nothing and that is exactly what they say. Thank you to all the physical and occupational therapists and nurses who provided me with professional and compassionate services during my recovery which allowed me to stay at home and not enter an assisted living center!
