It's a Terrible shame that a patient in your service suffers from horrible pain daily. He is competent and should have a say in his care, but because his POA squaks louder your staff shrivels!! Being in this profession patients comfort is always most important. It's disheartening that at the end of my father life he has to suffer with pain daily and has no one to advocate for him!!! Educate on the importance of comfort when providing comfort care, it goes a long way!

The best, most caring nurses who go above and beyond to provide comfort to their patients. Not only do they provide physical comfort, but emotional and spiritual support as well. God bless you all!
