I have been boarding my dogs at Vixen Hall for a few years now and couldn't be happier. The entire staff is great! My dogs are always happy when we get there and can't wait to go in, in fact they start barking and running around the house when we start packing up their stuff! Lol My dogs are very well taken care of while they are there and we're very comfortable leaving them for extended stays, sometimes two weeks. I can't say enough about the staff... Buddy, our 11month old shepherd looks so happy and healthy when we pick him up from Vixson hall. He seems well cared for when he is there. The staff is very friendy and professional. They give our baby boy great care and attention when he visits.
I have known the owner of Vixen Hall, Rhonda, for more than 20 years. All of my dogs have stayed with her when I have gone on vacations. Robert and Rhonda and the entire staff love animals and it is the only place I would take my dogs if I can't take them where I go. I know my dogs are being treated as I would treat them. The entire staff is fantastic! Their grooming is excellent too! One of these days they are both going to get some training there!
Took my dog in to be groomed today. One of his nails was clipped too short and they did not tell me when I picked him up. This would not of been a big deal to me. The issue came when I let him in the house and discovered he was bleeding by following a trail of blood on the carpet! I would of left him outside until the bleeding stopped. To top it off, we just had the carpet professionally cleaned two days ago. Luckily, the interior of my vehicle is black. From this experience, I would not recommend Vixen Halls for grooming.
When you pick up your dog from boarding and he is happy and relaxed, you know it's a wonderful place!
