Dr. Shah is a skilled surgeon but a poor health care provider. I had an unusual situation that resulted in hip flexor issues 27 months post-surgery. I reached out via the Patient Gateway and he was mostly unresponsive (sent 6 notes over a 5 month period, received one response). I’m still experiencing hip flexor pain over 3 years later.
Partial knee replacement 1 week ago. Very knowledgeable, professional, caring, and efficient crew and staff. He called me the night before surgery. Saw me both preop AND postoperative. From arrival to discharge was a matter of a few hours. Fabulous experience. I'm walking with a cane today. Very happy.
Dr. Shah assessed my husband as an independent specialist in our disability claim. He is thoughtful, caring and thorough.
I am totally happy with my experience of having my total knee replacement surgery by Dr. Vivek Shah and his surgical team. It is my third day since my surgery. I can walk up the stairs with the help on my cane . Go without a walker and walk around the house and porch. Do the exercises without much difficulty. Minimal pain and discomfort. Thank you! I’ve asked for his help/guidance 6 times in the past 5 months and gotten just one response. I’m dealing with hip flexor pain every day and he hasn’t responded for 5 months.
