Dr. Shah and his entire team (Leanne in particular) were terrific. Had a total hip replacement and the process leading up to surgery, during and post were outstanding.
My wife, who is an OR nurse and former OR Director, had a total hip replacement with Dr. Shaw. He and the entire OR team are top notch. His PA is fantastic, the nursing care we received was great (I’m also a RN), the in hospital PT was solid, and best of all Dr. Shah was excellent (the pre-op visit was very informative, he called the day before, he visited post-op, and called later in the week). Dr. Shah is a skilled surgeon but a poor health care provider. I had an unusual situation that resulted in hip flexor issues 27 months post-surgery. I reached out via the Patient Gateway and he was mostly unresponsive (sent 6 notes over a 5 month period, received one response). I’m still experiencing hip flexor pain over 3 years later.
Partial knee replacement 1 week ago. Very knowledgeable, professional, caring, and efficient crew and staff. He called me the night before surgery. Saw me both preop AND postoperative. From arrival to discharge was a matter of a few hours. Fabulous experience. I'm walking with a cane today. Very happy.
Dr. Shah assessed my husband as an independent specialist in our disability claim. He is thoughtful, caring and thorough.
