The water had more flavor than the food. We asked how much chips and salsa was and she didnt say anything so we thought free and you just had to ask for it. We walked up to pay and the total came out higher than expected. When I asked why, she said to look at the receipt. So I had it texted to me. When looking at it, they charged us 5 bucks extra for something we didnt order and 3.50 for chips and salsa. They didn't give much salsa in the first place. if I had to rate them from 1 -10 they would be 100. had the BBQ taco and it was like eating sweet and sour chicken. daughter had tamales and no words would do them justice. you just need to go.

I have lots of food allergies like gluten and dairy and I can eat at this place. very friendly and good food if your ever in San Antonio do stop by you will be glad you did.

Ordered 3 dozen Tamales - El Rey, San Patricio and Tres Hermanas. I was super disappointed at the amount of ingredients. The tamales were large but entirely MASA. I spent over $40 and being from out of town I had nothing to eat Christmas Day because I was let down by all the tamales. I will never purchase tamales from Viva Vegeria again.
