UPDATE: Vito called me and rectified the situation. He delivered new wood that was high quality and split into smaller pieces. He told me most of his other customers like the larger (and slower burning) pieces, but would be happy to cut my future orders smaller. I actually ended up splitting the earlier wood on my own and they burned well so that is a good solution. Thank you, Vito - i would recommend this business in the future based on my recent experiences.
