During my mother’s inpatient stay with VITAS Healthcare, Nurse Olivia made a lasting impact on our family. In such a painful and uncertain time, her compassion stood out. She treated my mother with dignity, spoke to her gently, and never made us feel rushed or overlooked. Her presence alone brought comfort, and her care gave us peace of mind when we needed it most. We will always be grateful for the kindness she showed our family.
I want to thank Vitas' beautiful staff for listening to me when no one else would, For helping to get my Dad out of the hospital and into their comfortable care, For helping me grant him his final wish of not passing in a hospital. I received a phone call from them today, checking on me and my family. No one has ever done that. Such a simple gesture meant so much to me. They not only care for your loved one, but for you also.
