VITAS Inpatient Hospice Care provided exceptional, compassionate support for my mother and for our family. The nurses and staff cared for her with genuine respect and were available to me and my son at any hour. They explained every part of hospice with clarity and provided guidance on the arrangements we would eventually need to make. Every nurse clearly loved their work and approached it with professionalism, empathy and purpose. I’m grateful for the comfort and dignity they provided my mother.
My husband recently passed away at Vitas Healthcare Hospice unit @ Florida West Hospital. Each and everyone involved with his care were extraordinarily caring & compassionate. They explained everything to the family maybe numerous times. Offered assistance & comfort to the family each day. I highly recommend this facility if u are so inclined and advised my family to do so with me if/when need be.
My dad was only here for a few days, but all of the staff was so kind and compassionate.
