My cousin was very ill in coral springs hospital , breathing on a machine ,having had a Cardic Arrest! They could not get him to breath on his own , he suffered great pain Was there for 2 weeks. I being only family member would not let them do a treak adamy, an feeding tube , which all docs agreed was only resort. I chose to have vitas/ hospice care instead knowing his time was near end . This place is a total scam and have no idea how people still use them. My mother was in her last weeks and they could care less just constantly doping her up in all kinds of meds. The nurses have no education how to treat patients let alone any experience in the medical field. The social work named Gary was getting rude with us and was saying he was gonna start charging us $700 daily unless we for our mother out of hospice...great nurturing for a family about to lose a loved one...stay away from this place!!

Unqualified and unempathetic nurses. They were consistently late with medication, especially around the 2 hours around shift change when they flat out refused to do ANYTHING because they want to go home and genuinely do not care about the patients pain or suffering. I walked out of the room late one night to hear the nurses loudly complaining about one of the patients because they couldn't control their bladder. These people are disgusting, DO NOT USE VITAS. Vitas nurse told my loved one with end stage lung cancer that he could save himself with herbs if he really wanted to. He spent $125 on herbal supplements she talked about because she had a growth in her nose that was cured and doctors wanted to do a biopsy that would “spread the cancer” she had no biopsy or proof it was anything but a pimple. Find any other hospice company except this one… they hire nurses they’re not even qualified to deal with this sort of thing. They have no idea what they’re doing. Are used it for my father. It was slightly better experience than with my mother. They are unprofessional and they have no clue how to handle dying patients or family members stay away. The nurse said they used my mother was dying. I could not even find her because my mother was dying. She had no urgency to help us and you can tell she was not even an actual nurse.... read more
