My husband was in Hospice at home. We choose Vitas as our caregivers group. Every single person that made contact with my husband and myself treated us with the utmost respect. My wife was only taken there to spend the night after having a healthy discharge from the hospital following leg surgery 2 days prior. She was never terminal only in chronic pain with light at the end of the tunnel to return to normal life. I agreed that she could spend 1 night there , she arrived around 530pm and was dead by 1155pm.
