4/9/18 my mother passed away while in Vitas Hospice. They lied to me the three days she was there. The nurses kept giving her drops of morphine even though she didn’t complain of pain. I kept trying to get mom to open her eyes and she never did. The nurses told me that she was sitting in a chair eating when I wasn’t there, that she yelled at them when they tried to make her bed when I wasn’t there, that she sat up when I wasn’t there. Vitas has high quality of life for Patients and Families. Provide professional services and Emotional Support during this period of time when someone you love is at the end of life. Because Vitas Cares.
In home care is very unprofessional. Can't get any orders straight. Their favorite answer is "I can't" Night nurses are the best of the bunch....Day nurses are looking for a pay check and to have a meeting and consult with the team. Patient care is very low on their list of priorities. Aides are poorly trained and have to be directed constantly.. I was very disappointed in this firms lack of compassion. Their statement that they are there to help the family is pure fabrication.
Angels from God. These miraculous people bring as much dignity and peace to their patients and families as can be. Team 151, there is just nothing you could do better. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I thank you, and my family thanks you.
These people are wonderful. From social workers to nurses, simply the best.
