We started Hospice 6 weeks ago in Stuart. Vitas was not ready to take on patients. The intake nurse was great. We got our father home and no VITAS. No one came to admit him to the following day. We had no supplies and the medications, we got three pills from the pharmacy. The nurses who have come are very competitent and friendly. The coordination of the care has been horrible. We had to admit our father into the hospital again due to an issue with a catheter. He went into septic shock and he recovered in 3 days to come home... read more
