RUN, DO NOT WALK away from VITAS HEALTHCARE if you are concerned regarding the Comfort and Care of a loved one. My story is a Nightmare caused by VITAS HEALTHCARE. Their lip service is impressive. Their actual care for your loved one is a nightmare. They say they Support your loved one with a team a team of seven (7)? The key players (Team Manager and Hospice MD) are always unavailable and would not return my phone calls.
