When I used to live in Costa Mesa , CA from 2013-2015 , I remember trying the amazing foods at Vitaly including the fantastic gelato , I have many great memories of Vitaly , I remember the kindness & hospitality of Maurizio & Barbara when I talked to them. Grazie for providing authentic Italian food and a lively & positive restaurant!
I've been going to Vitaly for years and have always been a big fan of their cafe and pastry. Out of all the Italian cafes I've been to in OC I'd say Vitaly has the most authentic Italian cannoli. Their iced chai is also a regular favorite of mine. Staff has always been friendly and respectful, definitely going out of their way to make sure your customer experience is enjoyable.
They have a charming indoor dining area and a nice outdoor patio area also. Loved the Pinsa or pizza - we enjoyed the Diavola which can be spicy and the Chalet. The Prosciutto and Burrata salad is also delicious. Strawberry Basil Lemonade makes it all even better! Fave desserts were the lemon bars and Salted Caramel Gelato. Our server, Yessie, was so friendly and efficient and made sure everything was perfect for us. Can't wait to go back!
Good, healthy, fresh food. Great atmosphere and customer service. Our waiter, Lorenzo, was so nice and attentive. Had a lovely time!
