I completely 25th donation
Love this donation center. Have been donating since the early 90s from L.A. to San Luis Obispo and the folks here are very kind and professional. Sometimes the music is a bit loud for my 24/7 loud Tinnitus, but they will always turn it down if asked. Fun people, very clean donation center and, of course, a LOT of snacks! :-D
Staff is nice. But when I arrived for my plasma appt, they said they don't do plasma donations for my blood type, and that I would have to give white platets (a 2 hour process where you can't move!!) instead. I sent an email to the corporate telling them that they should tell donors that on the website, so the donor doesn't make an appt and waste their own time. Again, staff is nice. And the place is clean. But Vitalant is not worth the hassle if you get turned away at your appt for facts that you weren't told beforehand.
