Everyone is so Sweet!
I've been a loyal donor for over 15 years and they call me to go donate every few months. This week I got called and scheduled for today for double red blood and when I got to the center they told me I couldn't donate because of my blood type. Wasted time and gas for nothing, sad to say I won't be donating anymore nor will I be answering their calls either. They know my blood type as I been a donor with them for so long, why schedule me in the first place

My daughter recently donated blood for the first time through Vitalant at her high school, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. As a first-time donor, this should have been a positive and encouraging experience. Instead, the staff created an uncomfortable environment.
