Though I've had the same person do the blood draw both times I've been here it's been a very good experience with no pain during the "poke". As a person who doesn't like needles and gets a little nervous during the process it's nice to have the TVs and conversation to distract.
The nurses are amazing at this location! I never had to wait once and I always get the royal treatment (snacks brought to my chair instead of me having to walk over to get them). Only have experience with whole blood donations, but can't think the others are any different 'support' wise. Love our conversations, makes the time fly by and makes me look forward to go back!
Vitalant did a blood drive at my job, went in at 10am as a walk-in. They had sent us all an email stating there was a shortage and they were in urgent need of donors as not many had registered. I do the paperwork and they test my blood as normal, everything is going good. Once they call me to start drawing my blood, they ask if I have a preference of which arm I will use. I love this location the staff is nice and very welcoming, they show great teamwork. Maria, Monica, Ayleen, and Dani are usually on staff and they are fabulous. The facility is clean and I see them always cleaning and wiping things down which is nice to see in a healthcare facility.
