I wanted to share my experience so it can hopefully help improve donor safety. This occurred during a blood drive held at East High School in Cheyenne with Vitalant, but not this facility. During my blood donation attempt, the blood pressure cuff was inflated and left on for an extended period of time while I was donating. My arm became numb and tingly, and when I informed the staff member, the cuff was only partially released instead of fully deflated. Speaking strictly of their outreach to current and former donors, they will call from different phone numbers at least once a month, if not more frequently (I sometimes get 2 calls a week) to request donations. If you block one phone number, they simply change to a new one to continue calling you. I've received calls (with automated voicemails) from about 20 different phone numbers in the past year, all of which have been blocked, yet the calls continue to come from new numbers. The donor center team is outstanding, everytime I come in Tonya and Isabel go so far out of their way to make it an incredible experience, they are very friendly, always extremely helpful answering any questions, and they make the best pokes. You can tell they put a lot of heart into their work and make a huge impact in their community! The center is so clean, they provide tons of snacks. It’s an amazing way to help people out!

Staff are good and friendly, had problems with donar app security features. If you get email to reset password, check junk email box. That was causing me some grief. That and 30 minute time-out wait to reset.
