Good cause. Great customer service. No reward for donation other than store credit.
Lauren here was just lovely! She was a very kind individual who walked me through every single step of donating blood for the first time. She was quick to get me processed in, reassured me on snack/water/juice availability several times, and was great at holding conversation in a way that kept things flowing. I donated at a mobile vitalant location and when they called to get me to come in again and I was given the propt to opt out of future calls there was a guilt trip recording to get you back.
They do not pay for donations. Lame. Centers in California should pay at least $60-$70 per plasma donation. Not cool, the rich want our blood but don’t even want to pay for it!
