The blood giving process is fine and I commend the work. However find out if you can give blood without giving them your phone number. For almost 3 years now they have been SPAMMING MY PHONE WITH MESSAGES AND IT NEVER STOPS. It is ABSOLUTELY terrible. And what’s really bad about it is they use different numbers to robot call. So I block a number and then another day get a new spam call from a new number. I have blocked countless numbers. The messages all start the same… “Hi! They are great clean area of the clean place first service and there is a lady how are name is Vicky she is very helpful with everyone I wish everyone has employees like Vicky thanks for everything I was on this location to donate blood
I made the commitment to myself to donate blood and platelets as frequently as possible. This location has always been friendly, clean, and efficient. I can tell they are knowledgeable and experienced at their jobs. Also, I enjoy getting follow up emails from Vitalant updating me on which hospital my donation went to.
I had a vasovagal/hypotensive reaction after donating yesterday (Yay me for being in that 0.08% of people that have such a reaction!). They took such good care of me. I knew I was in good hands and you will be too. I would donate blood here again in a heartbeat (this time drinking more electrolytes and eating a heavier meal a couple hours prior donation). Looking forward to my next blood donation.
