I came in today during my lunch break to donate blood. I arrived early and was thankful to see that it wasn't busy. The front desk employee had me go into one of the pre-screening rooms and told me she would be right with me. After sitting there for about 30 minutes, a young man came in and asked if someone had placed me in that room. When I told him yes, he implied that they had forgotten about me. Had issue with blood draw for platelets donation. I understand sometimes veins don't cooperate, but both techs very blase' about it. Routine for them, but not so much for us.
Leslie drew me. She was the kindest, most gentle soul. Great stick, but it wasn't just her medical professionalism, it was her story that she shared that made you feel totally comfortable and at ease. Marvelous experience!
