I think it’s weird you allow phlebotomists to have long fake nails. The lady who tried to take my blood didn’t get a good stick, probably because of her inch-long claws. She didn’t introduce herself, or ask for any help from anyone else and then just sent me away with no instructions. Very weird and bad experience, I won’t be going back. People in healthcare shouldn’t have giant fake nails, it’s unsanitary.
Really awesome folks over here, super friendly, and amazing at what they do. I’ve gotten more than a few blood draws and done multiple donations and this place did it faster and cleaner than anyone else.
I came in today during my lunch break to donate blood. I arrived early and was thankful to see that it wasn't busy. The front desk employee had me go into one of the pre-screening rooms and told me she would be right with me. After sitting there for about 30 minutes, a young man came in and asked if someone had placed me in that room. When I told him yes, he implied that they had forgotten about me. Had issue with blood draw for platelets donation. I understand sometimes veins don't cooperate, but both techs very blase' about it. Routine for them, but not so much for us.
