I have had the pleasure of having Shanda Gale as my nurse since I moved to Ontario just over a year ago. Shanda has gone SO FAR beyond the call of duty on several occasions...dropping off tubing etc when I broke my last one before the weekend. She has the heart of an angel and truly cares about her patients! We need MORE Shanda Gale's in this world!!!
Kudos to Sarah Labiuk - a kind, friendly, professional and hilarious human being. She is lovely to speak with at every appointment and makes me feel like she really cares. I think that's rare in these tough times. I'm a newby to the CPAP experience and hated the whole idea (still not loving it). However, Sarah explained everything to me in a very clear manner, in layman's terms and her experiences with her CPAP. I have waited for almost a year to get a study done. Ordered by an endocrinologist. Had it completed week of Nov 18th 2024, and have just received my "follow up" appointment for the SECOND WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 2025!
I have been living with COPD for many years but it never stopped me from being extremely active until last January when my condition deteriorated rapidly. After so many X-rays, CT Scans, walk tests, etc., doctors confirmed that I am eligible for oxygen therapy and strongly recommended that I go on oxygen.
