I called this dental office to ask a simple question: whether my insurance would fully cover the procedure I needed. They refused to give me any information over the phone and insisted I come into the office — even though I live 40 miles away. It’s clear they just wanted to get me in the door so they could tell me it’s not covered and hit me with a bill for $2,000 or more. That’s dishonest and feels like a scam.
