We had off and on service for months. They'd never answer calls or emails. Recently was told that they would pick up regularly every Tuesday after hiring new staff. Started off by picking up a few days late, then picked up a couple days later on the date they were supposed to, annoying but at least we got a pick up. This week it looks like we are back to being skipped and nobody answers the phone.
VRC did not service our offices for 3 months. I contacted them about the issue and was informed all of their drivers were unexpectedly out for that period of time. They offered to credit our account for those 3 months. We received one month of credit and then normal billing resumed. I have been trying to get someone at their office to answer the phone or respond to my emails for over 3 weeks, and I have heard from no one. We will be cancelling our service with this company ASAP!
We have used them for a few years now and have been very happy. Always on time and dependable. If you’re looking for on site shred service do not hesitate. Great service!
I work for the largest private oil business in Alaska. We currently rent 30 of Shred Alaska cans and can't get them to pick them up. They have continually said they would get them on Monday fo a month. Still sitting and using precious dock space. There are better more reliable shred companies in Anchorage. I would not recommend Shred Alaska.
