My wife and I randomly chose to have dinner here on an impromptu date night Saturday night, March 15. I'm so happy we did! We started with an old fashioned made with Buffalo Trace and a smoked apple pie old fashioned. Both were good, although we preferred the regular old fashioned over the other. Outstanding restaurant!
I recently visited Vistro in Hinsdale, IL, and unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing experience. I ordered the chicken wings, and they were tough, and seemed like they were frozen before being fried. The lobster bisque was also underwhelming, with no lobster in sight, just breadcrumbs and a bland, watery broth. The pizza was plain and forgettable at best. My total bill came to about $120, and for the quality of food, I felt like I was seriously overcharged.
