We moved my mother in 6 months ago and it has just been getting worse and worse. Promises are made and never followed through. Very little activities- nothing at night except 1x a week, there is a movie (although is usually a very old one) No real activities on weekends (they just started some entertainment 2x/month). Food is terrible (Ran out of Spaghetti at 5:15 tonight. My mom and others are very unhappy and they are not being included in decisions. I live at Vista Winds Independent living. I like the grounds and building. The people and staff are great. I love my unit. They advertise a state of art fitness center. They have no upper body machines. I have a one star review because the most important thing is the food. When I moved in they had a hot breakfast but then they said that should not be so they stopped it. Lunch and dinner most people here said it could be improved. They are still working on that.
