Spent 20 minutes in the waiting room filling out paperwork about my medical history just for the old surgeon there to ignore it. I have a serious thyroid issue my thyroid does not process iodine so if I take too much it becomes a poison and he sent me to get fiber supplements in an attempt to avoid surgery at which my doctor and I've already come to the conclusion that with my dietary issues is not possible. I saw Dr. Matildi. I tried showing him the results of my hida scan how my ejection fraction rate is 18%. It was not viewed but he wanted to talk about the ct that did not show anything and when I mentioned the ct that did and that I was positive for the Murphy's sign it did not seem to matter. I felt like scare tactics were used to talk me out of surgery. He was telling me how I could have pain for the rest of my life and there is a 0.7 chance I will bleed out or die or both. Not sure what’s going on with this office. Dr Salloum is among the missing - office states he is on bereavement and don’t know if he will be returning at all. Dr Hashmi also left. Office looks in disarray and unorganized and photos of both doctors taken down. This is all very concerning to me as post op not going well for patient. They referrred me to another surgeon in El Paso to follow up on surgery Dr Salloum did??
The staff and doctors are very nice and great . I had a lovely experience with them all. Thank you and love you all.
