My son has spent time in several facilities; this one is bar none in excellent care!
My mother has Alzheimer's. I tried 2 homes before finding Vista Pacifica Convalescent. The other homes had no understanding of the behavior and risks associated with Alzheimer's. Vista Pacifica has wonderful staff and they are all very knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. My mother can be very difficult. The primary physician is very good and has a good understanding of the patients medical needs. My only complaint is with the psychiatrist who cares for the patients. Vista pacifica center's staff are some of the most caring and compassionate individuals I've met at a nursing home. They deal with some of the most difficult mentally ill patients but still provide such a high level of care. The nurses there are pleasant and really care for their patients. Vista pacifica also has some wonderful counselors who work with the patients with such empathy, patience and genuine care. if you want somebody to treat your love one like family bring them to Vista Pacifica Convalescent. The staff is friendly caring and loving to to residents. The DON and admissions corrdinator are more than helpful and answer all you questions. The administrator is very knowledgeable and alleviates all your fears or any misconceptions of nursing homes. So yes i would recomend the facility to anyone.
the facility is very clean and neat. the staff is friendly and caring. The director of nursing and admissions coordinator both answered all my questions and made me feel welcomed and comfortable having my mother in their hands. i would recommend the facility to anyone. Thanks to all the staff
