Exemplary in every way. Kind, resourceful, long time owners, updated (streaming services) cleanliness, friendly staff, resourceful, engaging, comfort rooms, eco-minded. I have come here 'to vacate' for just 2 nights or up to 5 nights on and off for over 12 years. Positivity thrives here.
Great hospitality service! My daughter’s cherished stuffed animal accidentally was taken with the sheets after a room cleaning. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful in communication to their housekeeping staff. My daughter’s toy was returned later the same afternoon when located. We can’t thank you enough! Clean rooms, kind people, great location.
My husband and I stayed here last week. It was our first experience in Gloucester and I was concerned about the amount of summer visitors. Gloucester is well able to accomodate all! The people are friendly, service is wonderful. The hotel was lovely. We were in the back building and yet, we had a view of Good Harbor Beach, a lovely balcony. The staff was accomodating. Loved the beautiful view and the staff was very friendly!! The heated pool and included breakfast was a great perk!!
We loved the location and enjoyed our time at The Vista. The beds were comfortable along with the room amenities. It's not the most modern looking. However, my priorities are safety and comfort; both were met. Additionally, the balcony overlooking Good Harbor Beach was outstanding and the continental breakfast was just the right touch to soothe our savage bellies. The staff was pleasant. Lastly, it has a nice pool; it was just the right size and also faced the beach.
