This service is quite poor in several ways. The practitioner never shows up on time, sometimes not at all and rarely calls to give any updates. When they do show up, the session time varies, often just for 30 minutes. After a knee replacement, one said to use ice and the next person said not to use ice. For what they charge Medicare, they should be ashamed.
If you're in the Bronx and can avoid them, do yourself a favor and please do. Home nurse Mercy lacked communication skills while staying she was ordering what I have and needed refills for (ileostomy supplies) but the order arrived with nothing being compatible with the other. The wafers and one belt were the only pieces that were correct! Every other piece ordered was different or not compatible with my stoma or each other. Anyone needing home health care - I can not recommend this company enough. I have had a pleasant experience from the first phone call. I was evaluated by Ian (Physical Therapist) and he direct some time with me and explained and started me on my physics therapy journey after total knee replacement. My mother had knee replacement surgery about a month ago and started physical therapy, in home service a week after. She has had several physical therapist that have come to her but the one that she has amazing things to say about is, Marc Goldberg. She feels that he is very professional, cares about if her knee is sore, gives her great advice on how to continue the therapy on her own and is just an amazing human being.
