As a client of Visiting Angels, I have to say the Marana Visiting Angels falls short in terms of customer service. The direct care givers are excellent but there is poor communication between management and caregivers which directly affected care for my mother during the month of September 2021. I work 40 minutes away from my house so hired Visiting Angels to care for my mother while I was at work. Imagine how I felt when I received a voicemail from my mom that no one showed up one day. My loved one was neglected and verbally abused by Starla Boone who works for Visiting Angels at the Columbus, GA location. I have her on a recording yelling at my mother for an incontinence issue and she clearly did not assist my mother with bathing or toileting the entire day. When I came home she had the same clothes on and was soaked from her top to her ankles in urine. I hired them to come care for my mom and help take things off of my "to do" list. Not only was the caregiver terrible, I had more to do when she left than before she got there. I called Danielle, the coordinator, 4 times the next week to discuss it with her. She never called me back. Find other care for your loved one.

Although the Visiting Angels caretakers did everything they were supposed to do when they were with my mom, the service itself is very unreliable. Four times in the last month no one has shown up at the scheduled time, and the agency did not even call us to let us know. If we had known, we could have made other plans. My mom is a fall risk, and this left her on her own to try to get her meals. Not an agency you can depend on.

My brother Ralph has been over year with Visiting Angels, and he has Parkinsons and loves having his Visiting Angel with him....The aids are amazing they cook for him and take him to run all errands...I want to say Pamela Caregiver Manager is amazing she always calls and makes sure the Aids are always at Ralph's apartment and on top of them doing a good job...I also want say, Tom/Director of Visiting Angels he sure knows about people and how to fit the right person with the right client.....I give Visiting Angels 5 STARS....... read more

The services I receive at Visiting Angels in Berea are great! I get along well with all of the Angels that help me & I enjoy my Angel that comes on a regular basis. I love to paint pictures, so my Angel paints with me & we do other things together as well. She takes me to see my friends, as well as outings I like; a ride in the country, out to lunch, take me to Dr appointments, grocery shopping & to art supply stores. Visiting Angels in Berea works diligently to ensure each client is cared for with the best quality of life possible & in the most dignified manner. The caregivers are true angels, which explains why they work with Visiting Angels. The Angels take their job personal as they treat their clients as if they were their own family members.
