Our family has the highest praise for Visiting Angels. For several years, the Angels have provided excellent care that means more than we can say for our elderly mother Jean. Jean and the family are thankful for the personal attention that goes beyond amenities offered at her assisted living facility. I’ve been working with Visiting Angels since 2013 when I retired as a registered nurse. The job was a perfect fit for me! I can continue working with clients, providing a professional level of service by following a personalized care plan unique to each persons lifestyle or needs. It pains me to write this honest review, but I feel compelled to warn others about how negligent the owner of the West Essex NJ agency is, in vetting and training her staff. She is also disorganized and unreliable. The company describes their services as "light housekeeping, assistance with bathing & meals + companionship". They ARE NOT supposed to bring an elderly person outside, on a hot day TO GARDEN because the caregiver has run out of things to keep herself entertained!
