The communication and care across the board have met my expectations. There have been some scheduling difficulties; however, the care manager worked diligently to get them resolved as soon as possible. Overall, I am satisfied with the personnel and the care they provide for my father-in-law.
Visiting Angels has been a God send for my dad. Having them come and visit is what allowed him to stay home as long as he did. Rita ( his caregiver) knew how to cajole and tease my dad to get him to what he needed to do without him getting angry. Meghan, the case manager, was such a breath of fresh air. She wants what is best for my dad at all times and does her darn sets to make sure that happens, even if he is an ornery old vet. Visiting Angels has been a lifesaver for both my dad and me. I no longer worry about him every day because I know his caregivers are there to help. Meghan, the Care Manager, is amazing too. We love our Visiting Angels! They take such great care of our Veteran! They are attentive, provide excellent care and help with grooming, make healthy meals and always clean up the mess! We know we can always count on them to arrive on time. He looks forward to his time with the angels each week. The office staff are super helpful too with scheduling and making sure we have everything we need. We highly recommend Visiting Angels!
My friend is an elderly veteran who is in the process of getting home care from Visiting Angels. He's had a visit from a manager and a nurse so far. I was present at both visits, and both of these women were lovely. Both were patient and listened to my friend's concerns. They haven't been able to match him with an aide yet, but I have high hopes for whomever they send.
