I recently attempted to meet with Visiting Angels with the intention of getting some assistance for my 95 year old mother. Maybe they were under some type of stress that afternoon, but I was treated rudely and basically dismissed by the two persons present. I have unfortunately concluded that the service I need NOW is not going to be coming from this office. It was very disappointing.

I started working for Visiting Angels around 3 1/2 months ago as their scheduler. Since I have started working there, I have found a new sense and meaning of the word "Family". My job is very challenging and sometimes can be stressful. However, I wouldn't change it for the world. The owner not only runs the business but he also works in his business as the Administrator. Jerome is an awesome "boss" as well as an amazing owner. Jerome genuinely cares about his clients and caregivers. He is constantly coming up with ways to make his company better for his caregivers and his clients. He offers competitive wages to his caregivers all the while not breaking the bank when it comes to his client's rate. This is hands down the best company I have ever worked for. This isn't a job for me, it is my work home. Visiting Angels care ,as a whole, about their caregivers and offer many benefits that most businesses do not. Visiting Angels of WNC will help a PCA get their CNA license if that's what they wish to do. The staff of Visiting Angels are so caring and compassionate. The caregivers go above and beyond for their clients on a daily basis. I speak with most of our clients weekly and a lot of them almost daily. It makes me feel good to hear the things that the clients say about their caregivers. The clients and caregivers are like one big family. I have found my home when it comes to my job at VAOFWNC. The caregiver's don't dread coming in to work, they really enjoy the job and y will answer with "the clients that they get to take care of".

Visiting Angels provided my Mom with care and love during her last few months of life. Jerome and Jodi were always attentive, stayed in communication, and did everything humanly possible to fit our needs and requests. Jodi is a master at her job - thank you Jodi. My Mom was blessed to have the caring, sweet, and professional caregivers. She especially enjoyed spending time with Mary. Thank you to all the wonderful caregivers for helping my Mom in big and small ways. It… See more

Visiting Angels of Western North Carolina is one of the finest service agencies I have had the privilege to work with. I have been in the social service field for over 25 years and am so impressed with the caring and concern that Visiting Angels has for both its Clients and its Employees. It is indeed an honor to work with this agency. Highly Recommended.
