We purchased a basic Visiplex intercom system (basestation + 10 intercoms + a couple of loud speakers) for a non-profit school. Pros: - Relatively inexpensive - Wireless and do not require FCC license - Visiplex appears to have a comprehensive product line beyond intercoms. - Friendly and helpful technical support staff Cons: - Setup is not intuitive and will most likely require connecting each unit to a computer for configuration.
