Just had yearly eye exam with Dr DesLauriers. Year after year she consistently conducts the most thorough and well explained examination I have ever received in multiple prior locals throughout the Midwest and Northeast. When a painful bump on my eyelid that I mistakenly thought was a pimple refused to go away quietly, I started to panic. Then I read an article in a supplemental section of The Brunswick Beacon, titled, "The Real Women of Brunswick County." Featured in this article was the Vision Square Eyecare team of doctors, with a quote from their newest member, Dr. Heidi Martin, a part of which reads: "...I love what I do. Ron had an emergency appointment on Monday. A message was left on Vision Square's voicemail on Sunday afternoon. Promptly we received a call from Vision Square Southport early Monday AM.We also recived a call from the Shallotte Office. Ron was seen at 8:30 that same day. Ron is feeling much better today! We can not express enough how much we appreciated such a fast response to our situation. Thank you very much Vision Square associates!!!!!!
I like the friendly staff. We are new to Southport and were in search of an optometrist. The one negative is that we have to wait at the first appointment at about 40 min past our scheduled appointment time.
