Aiden ,17yr old, had been complaining of eye strain and headaches almost everyday since starting middle school. I of course took him to the optometrist and got glasses, but this only helped him slightly. Everyday was a struggle. When we found out about vision therapy we were very excited. Aiden has improved tremendously since starting. He says his eyes feel more relaxed and he can finally enjoy reading again. Everyone was very helpful and encouraging. Thank you Ms. Kathy and Dr. O'Connor.

Our son made incredible progress in the 9 months he attended vision therapy. We watched him go from emergent readers to chapter books and from unsure to confident in reading-writing-and visual tasks. His frustration and fatigue decreased. We could even notice his eyes showing more strength and less watery response when challenged with visual work. He says he feels he reads better and plays hockey better too. We are happy that we made the investment and connected him with the support he needed at Vision Development of WNY.
Everyone here is so knowledgeable and kind. My daughter had issues that I was not even aware of, that were corrected with her vision therapy. One of her issues was that she was seeing double while she was reading. Weeks into treatment she was no longer seeing double. It helped with so many other issues as well. She really liked the treatments, at 29 she was very aware of her improvements. We feel very blessed to have found out about this place and we are beyond grateful in how much they helped my daughter.
