I normally don't write reviews, but the service I got from Dr Leuenberger was excellent, because my eyes had RK surgery many years ago my contact prescription is very finicky, he dedicated a lot of time and patience until things were exactly right. I would like to mention also Madi Mae his assistant, she goes beyond the call of duty by a lot, she makes you feel special while doing more tests than any other technician I have worked with, before. I recently had an eye exam by Dr. Warta and his team. I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism, care, and expertise the student doctor Raveena demonstrated throughout the entire visit. What truly stood out was her warm demeanour and the level of compassion she showed. She explained my cataracts in a way that was very to understand. Dr Warta and his staff always make me feel understood. The entire team goes above and beyond. Good luck in Tampa Raveena!
So I walked in there today. I sat down after my eye exam. My wife had a prescription from another place. She already talked to front desk.She needed contacts. She has insurance she was quoted $80 . She sat down with the lady that Orders glasses she was told that’ll be $160. After talking to her, she decides that she will honor the $80. After my visit there, the receptionist says those don’t fit you and screw me into a pair of glasses that are $100 more. I used my insurance at MyEyeDr. to get sunglasses—$200 was covered by insurance, and I paid $115 out of pocket. When the glasses arrived, they were the wrong color. I asked them to reorder the correct pair, but they never followed up. After a month with no communication, I went in, and they said they didn’t have them. I got a refund for my $115, but lost the $200 insurance benefit. Poor service, terrible follow-up. Won’t be going back.
I have spent thousands on glasses here and wish I knew there were better places sooner. I have a warranty on my glasses and I recently lost the glasses on a fishing trip. The day I lost them, I called in so new ones can be ordered, because I had no "proof" that the accident happened, I had to pay 50% of the glasses cost.
