DO NOT USE THIS PLACE WITHOUT INSURANCE. I’ve been here twice. The first visit was fine. The second visit was fine on the exam side, but they play with you on exam pricing. It cost nearly $300 for a contact lens exam update and glasses exam update. That’s actual insanity and they don’t quote you a total because they know patients will walk. I’m furious at the bait and switch - my $99-150 eye exam (as quoted) was $300. Then they try to sell me contact lenses at about double the actual price. I am editing my initial review below. Still good service from that visit but now this is reviewing a follow up item from that visit. During that visit, I was told that my previous two pairs of glasses I bought there were done wrong. I was told that the person who measured wrong was making a lot of mistakes and he is no longer there. I didn't know they weren't working as they should after I took them home since this was my first time having a "reader" Rx added to the bottom of the lens. I received a bill from myeyedr 2 months after my service requesting additional money despite having paid them in full at the time of service. I was charged 4 seperate charges for my lenses, one of which was "Misc Extras". This issue has been resolved at this point. However, due to the fact that it took 4 phone calls and approximately 2.5 hours of my time, they get 1 star for terrible customer service. I really enjoyed my first visit with My Eye Dr. Dr. Leuenberger was very thorough in his exam and very pleasant. His assistant (I missed her name, but she was from North Carolina) was very helpful and had a great sense of humor. Bri was so knowledgeable with insurance and helped me pick out a nice pair of frames. I felt like she really helped me get “the most bang for my buck” and I was able to order 2 frames and a year supply of contacts for what I believe to be a reasonable price.
